WMS is expanding its outreach and we wanted to make sure that our policy documents and handbooks are up-to-date and comply with legal requirements. We were introduced to a local charity called Link Up Battersea, which brings together volunteers willing to share their professional skills with local charities, community groups and social enterprises who need those skills to make a real difference in the community.
Link Up paired us with a local solicitor, Katie Finch, who was interested in sharing her skills with a worthy cause in her community. Katie gave us professional, high quality, thorough and logical advice and used her knowledge of employment, charity and data protection law to help us create a new Office Handbook. We were very grateful to Link Up London for helping us with this project, and to Katie for her time, knowledge and advice.
