Come along to a free, CPD-certified training course that will teach you how to communicate better and support the families you work with.
Discover practical ways to talk about relationships and conflict, and to encourage positive communication for the sake of the children.
Earn up to 6 CPD points for completing the course, and receive a free resource pack filled with tools to help families under stress.
The course is certified with CPD UK and will be led by professional mediators. All participants who’ve attended both workshops will receive a CPD certificate.

Led by Lizzie Haynes, this workshop explores relationship stages, causes of conflict, arguing styles, and the impact on children – including those with SEND and from diverse cultures – to help you support parents in reducing conflict.
19 November 2024, 5:30-9pm. Practical Communication Skills for Conflict Resolution. (5:30pm for pizza, 6-9pm for training)
Led by Michele Beute, this workshop offers hands-on practice with tools like the Conflict Puzzle, active listening, effective questioning, and “I” statements to support parents in managing conflict and finding additional resources.
‘Supporting parents in conflict’ is a series of free professional development workshops developed by Wandsworth Mediation Service for members of the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) supporting families in Wandsworth: local volunteers, groups, and community and faith organisations.
Funded by the Richmond and Wandsworth Council, it is part of a national initiative aimed to reduce parental conflict and improve outcomes for children.
