Wandsworth Mediation Service has ONE space available for a resident of Wandsworth to train with WMS as a community mediator this month. The skills are transferable into all parts of our family, work and home life. Priority will be given to residents of Wandsworth, as WMS is a local charity supporting local people.
(you must be able to attend all sessions):
10am – 5pm on 27, 28, 29 April and 11, 12 May 2022
9am -5pm on 13 May – Assessment day
A small group of 8 trainees, the sessions will be interactive, with discussions and demonstrations in small groups and together. The first 3 days will mainly be delivery of the course material and there will be practise sessions on days 4 & 5, followed by assessments on day 6.
St Mark’s church, Battersea Rise, SW11 1EJ (entrance on Boutflower road). Nearest train: Clapham Junction.
WMS has grant funding for the training which is free to you, unless you would like to take the additional accreditation option. What we ask of you is to commit to volunteering for up to 3 cases with WMS per year, and attending our supervision and training sessions which are about every 6 months.
